The new Chevrolet Cruze was launched by General Motors in India in October 2009 and since then, it has proven to be a much adored car by many Indians.  The facelift version of this model is expected to be launched sometime in 2012.  This car features a 1991cc VCDi diesel engine with a maximum torque of 327Nm at 2600rpm and a peak power level of 148Bhp at 4000rpm.  It is a sedan body car with documented fuel consumption of 18.0 Km per liter on the highway and 14 km per liter in the city.  It is well known for feature rich design, high tech interiors and great styling.  It comes in three variants, the Chevrolet Cruze LT, the Chevrolet Cruze LTZ and the Chevrolet Cruze LTZ AT.
